Con esta figura iniciamos una nueva serie consagrada a los ejercitos del siglo XIX posteriores al periodo Napoleonico. Comenzamos con una figura de un sargento del batallon de Osma , participante en la primera guerra carlista en el bando del pretendiente al trono D.Carlos de Borbon, hermano del difunto Monarca Fernando VII. Cierto numero de unidades del ejercito , y sobre todo los batallones de Voluntarios Realistas abrazaron los ideales absolutistas de Don Carlos, comenzando asi la primera de tres guerras civiles que con el nombre de Carlistas jalonaron todo el siglo XIX.
